The Kindercare Pediatrics Allergy Team is currently offering oral immunotherapy (OIT) for children under 8 years old.

The following food allergies can be incorporated into OIT treatment: peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, sunflower seed, flaxseed, mustard, other seeds, chickpeas, peas, lentils, other legumes, milk, egg, wheat, soy. Other foods will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Please note that your initial appointment would be an information-gathering session. Our allergists need to know your child’s allergy history and medical history very well. Following the initial appointment, families interested in OIT will undergo a detailed educational program and counseling.
